  • Is parking available at this property?

    Yes, our guests have access to a covered carport that can accommodate two vehicles, free of charge. Additional on street parking is available nearby.

  • How many people can live with me?

    Our home can accommodate up to 4 guests, two people per bedroom. Additional occupants must be added to your reservation during the verification process. We charge per guest; please have an accurate guest count.

  • Does this property allow pets?

    The Barton Lake House is not a pet-friendly home. We kindly ask guests to find other accommodation for their pets during their stay.

  • What is the smoking policy?

    Our home is smoke-free and we’d like to keep it that way.

  • Can I bring my own furniture?

    We pride ourselves on having everything you need to live comfortably. The space is fully furnished, but you may bring additional items if it makes you feel more at home. Please don’t remove any items from the property or hang anything on the walls.

  • Is maintenance provided onsite?

    Contact us with maintenance requests. We will coordinate with our partners to address the issue and keep you up to date on the progress. We typically respond to maintenance requests within 24-72 hours. For non-urgent issues, we do not send maintenance to the property during your stay. Unless requested, we hold off on repairs for non-urgent issues to reduce the inconvenience for our guests.

  • Is it quiet?

    Due to the proximity to the East Colonial (HWY 50) and the executive airport this home has a high level of environmental noise. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best home for you.

  • Can I rent this property for less than 30 days?

    Unfortunately not. Short term rentals are not permitted in the city of Orlando. Our minimum stay is 30 nights.

  • How long can I live here?

    This is a midterm rental property. Our minimum stay is 30 nights. Guests usually stay for 3-6 months.

  • Do I need my own renter's insurance?

    We provide insurance for our furnishings. If you require additional coverage for personal belongings, we recommend a personal liability renter's insurance policy for guests of at least $100,000.

  • Can I rent or sublet during my stay?

    No, our home cannot be rented out on any platform by our renters.

  • Does this home have a bathtub?

    No, this home does not have a bathtub.

  • Is the yard fenced?

    No, the yard is not fenced.

  • Are the appliances full size?

    Yes, all appliances are new and full size. Purchased in 2023.

  • What safety measures do you have in place?
